There is no doubt that you should get Configurizer if what you’re looking for is a properly good product configurator. There are several reasons why you should get this Kiner Software-developed tool: Configurizer allows you to define very complex rules, it uses familiar and robust technology to interpret the aforementioned rules, it organizes your data in a clear way, the output format is versatile, and it can be used to add product configurator capabilities to other applications – to your very own application if you want to.

To get started with Configurizer, you will have to download and run a 10.9MB MSI installer. Once you do so, you will be presented with a simple setup wizard. A few clicks later you will be done with the installation process and you’ll be able to get started with Configurizer.

Speaking about getting started with Configurizer, it must be mentioned here that the application is made up of two components. First up there’s the Configurizer Item Manager. It provides a centralized location for maintaining and releasing product configuration rules; you can easily run and access the Item Manager. Next up there’s the Configurizer Runtime Engine; this is an ActiveX DLL that generates the output.

With Configurizer by your side, you can extend the capabilities offered by the tools you already have. Or, you can come up with a custom tool for your data, like a product configurator or a sales configurator, for example. Configurizer is ideally suited for gathering, validating input, processing it, and generating a descriptive result.

Lots of features are offered by the powerful tool Configurizer – all with the aim of helping you come up with your own configuration-based tools.

Pros

Setting Configurizer up takes little time and effort. There are two components: the Item Manager and the Runtime Engine. The application boasts a nice list of features. Use Configurizer to come up with your own configuration-based tools.

Cons

Free to use for a 30-day trial; nag screen.
